Cost of Study in Germany
In Germany, there are no tuition fees you must pay for, universities in Germany charge a small amount of money dedicated to administrative costs, student union, and public transport. This payment is known as “semester contribution” and it is paid at the beginning of each semester. The price of the “semester contribution” can hardly exceed €300.

Requirements To Study in Germany
- Passing the qualification assessment examination in Germany, called Feststellungsprüfung.
- Passing the subject knowledge and if applicable German language proficiency in an entrance exam (Aufnahmeprüfung) before you enroll yourself in the foundation course.
- A foundation course (Studienkolleg) in Germany can help you prepare for this examination.
- The minimum eligibility criteria for enrollment in a Studienkolleg are a valid school leaving certificate (12th) with the relevant subject combination
- Proficiency in German language (approx. B2 level based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
- Successfully completed the first year of a bachelor's program from a recognized university in India in the relevant subject field.
- Successfully cleared the IIT Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) for admission to courses in technology and natural sciences.
- Successfully completing IB or similar internationally recognized examination with the requisite subject combination.
- If your course is taught in English and you are not a native English speaker, you will be required to provide IELTS or TOEFL scores.
- Success in this examination does not automatically lead to admission to a university or FH.

You Have To Submit These documents When You Apply For A German Student Visa In India:
- Your passport.
- Two scanned copies of your passport’s personal information page.
- Visa application form.
- Declaration form for additional contact and legal representation information.
- Three biometric visa pictures.
- Proof of acceptance in a German study course or preparatory college.
- Proof you are proficient in the language of instruction at least in B2-level.
- Any academic certificates and qualifications.
- Your CV.
